Word processor recommendation?
Hi. Any recommendations on a good word processor for the Adam? I tried the integrated one and it's actually not bad, but has limitations.

Re: Cbasic
Hah! It might be an interesting challenge, but I have way too much on my plate currently to even consider it. That said, if there is a way to embed machine language in CBASIC, then it should be relatively trivial to add the extensions since the routines already exist with my TP3 extensions. Can CBAS...

Re: Cbasic
Nice. I have never really messed with compiled Basic under CP/M since I had Turbo Pascal at may disposal. I would be cool to see if you can get it to access the graphic and sound resources of the Adam. My main beef with the Adam SmartBasic and variants is that it relies heavily on pokes and peeks to...

Re: AdamWare Image Manager
Any VDD support expected? Having a baby has cut into my coding time but she is worth it and I’m starting to slowly get more time to code. I’m hoping to have a beta out in the next month. Yes of course :) I am invested in 2 VDDs, and while I have thought about purchasing a couple of ADEs, it made li...

Re: Best terminal program for Adam
Does it have the option of setting the terminal width by any chance?
Is there an EOS based terminal program out there?

Best terminal program for Adam
Hi.
I'm looking at connecting a WiModem Wifi modem to the Adam so I can telnet into BBS's. I do have a serial card, but need to know what the best terminal emulator is for the Adam and where to find it (I assume in the archive).
Any suggestions?

Re: Pokes
Great reference, although I have a deep dislike for Basics that rely on them to access most of the computer's functions, such as the C64 Basic because they make the code practically unreadable without constantly having to refer to POKE and PEEK tables. I guess I was spoiled by the TI Extended Basic ...

Re: Turbo Pascal 3 bitmap graphics extensions
Is it odd that these extensions don't work under T-DOS? The demo programs compile fine but when you run the resulting .com file the system just freezes up. I thought T-DOS it was 99% CP/M compatible but maybe this falls into that 1%? If these could work in T-DOS it'd be awesome mainly because its s...
