Writing Games in FujiNet Workshop

Post by tschak909 » Sat Feb 05, 2022 1:46 pm

Want to program #8bit games for the #FujiNet? We are hosting a Zoom event workshop!

Topic: Developing Games for FujiNet
Time: Feb 12, 2022 09:00 AM Pacific Time (US and Canada)

Join Zoom Meeting
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89086564007

Both #Atari8bit and #ColecoAdam will be shown.

The tenative plan is to walk through a game of Connect Four, written in Turbo BASIC for Atari, and in CC65 for Adam; demonstrating it doesn't matter the language, or computer used, games can cross platforms. :)

In this #FujiNet #Programming #Retrocomputing workshop, we show the process of adapting a game for #FujiNet using the #Atari8bit and #ColecoAdam as examples, in two different languages.

Greetings Tschak909

Very illustrative video,

Is there a step by step guide for Coleco Adam programming using C language?

How to deploy the programming environment in Windows... how to compile... how to add graphics...
(I assume using the tool "MSX/Coleco Sprite & Tile Set Editor" from Electric Adventures,
https://www.electricadventures.net/Pages/Category/24 ), and finally how to add network features.

Thanks in advance,
