Still really stoked to have this setup though. I've got a 720K CP/M 2.2 boot disk with lots of room left for utilities and I can mount a 720K data disk for my work. I don't have a hard drive, so this is a pretty good arrangement for me!
Using which one? Was this with the emulator?

Using ABP25 on my real ADAM. Bonus: On the real hardware I had no trouble accessing the tape drive and copying between disk and tape. :)

So I assume you have a 3 1/2" disk drive for the adam?

I just reread what you posted before and see you are using a ADEL so that makes sense. On the problem with it locking up in the emulator I believe the problem may be that the emulator doesn't handle the disk drive format command correctly.

How did you format and sysgen the disk after using apb25?

Ah, that is good to know. I always have problems formatting disks when using the emulator.

I got NEWCCP working today on top of my ABP-patched CP/M installation. The NIAD disk that contained NEWCCP also contained a ADAMCCP.HEX file so I actually used that to patch the CCP. Using the already created hex file made the installation easier as I could skip over the assembly and linking part of the instructions.

It works. The only odd thing I've noticed is that it sometimes reports the file sizes incorrectly (saying each of them is 256K). So I now have this in place and I am still able to utilize 720K disk images instead of 160K. Pretty sweet!

I'm attaching the disk image.
