I am about to make my ADE. Can I copy a DDP to the ADE to create a DDP image? I have some old PD tapes I would like to upload to the archive.

I'm sure you can - I'll give it a shot and test it.

Thanks.

My SD card shield arrives on the 16th so I can start building it then.

Can't wait to give my poor, tired tape drive a rest. It's old but still works 100%!

Just had a thought for a v2 ADE. Add a speaker play a tape or disk audio file during activity!

I saw that thank you! I'm sorry you had a rough day though. I'm sure tomorrow will be all sunshine and roses!

I know this doesn't exactly answer the question but thought I'd throw it out there since it's somewhat related.

I have one of the SD-DDP drives and a while back I was able to use it to successfully make a .ddp backup of my physical AdamCALC digital data pack.

You CAN copy to a DDP Image File on an ADE, you just have to set the File Manager settings accordingly. Another option to copy a 256K DDP would be to copy it to a 320K disk image file or break up the 256K DDP onto 2 - 160K disk image files. Numerous options abound, so let us know how things go.

Jim I didn’t make up what happened. I was able to reproduce it multiple times. Notice Lundy hasn’t said a word?
