I was going to start poking around the old manuals, but does anyone know the specs for the power pack for the disk drive off the top of their head?

I know it is 9V. But I am wondering what the AMPs are and also center positive or negative? :?:

Its 9v AC - you can use one that was made for an Atari 400 / 800. There is no positive or negative.

And now I am even more confused. LOL
It is probably due to my life as a guitar player and using and building pedals that run 9v power in place of a battery. Usually you have a center that is positive or negative but I think that is converting the AC to DC.

So this power supply is AC straight through?

With AC there is no dedicated negative or positive, they "alternate" - hence Alternating current :D

Which means you can also use a 9v DC supply and the polarity will be corrected by the bridge rectifier. Boom!
