This is still early, with only the first stage available, but after some tweaking I've got it to the point where the logic works the way I want it to... give or take some ropey deflection physics. I'm roughing things out for the moment, but if anyone has suggestions/tutorials on how to properly do deflections in a Breakanoid, it sure would be nifty to have that information! You will need an analog controller (Super Action or trackball). Press a button on the CV controller to serve the ball, then use the dial to move Slim the bat across the playfield. Some bricks have special properties, as follows: BLUE: Awards points, doesn't do anything else. RED: Fires a dart called a "stab," up to four onscreen at once. Do not touch these with the bat. (Not implemented yet) GREEN: Drops a coin. Grab it or concentrate on the ball? Decisions, decisions. (needs a sound effect and polishing up) GOLD: Worth big points, but sets ball in "meteor" status. Don't let the ball get past you! CONCRETE: Deflects ball and is impossible to destroy. Doesn't count against brick total.

Manhole features several pedestrians that will fall into the water below if you don\'t place a manhole cover below them. To move the manhole cover, you need to press one of the corresponding buttons. One point is scored if a pedestrian walks over the manhole cover. The maximum score is 999. If a pedestrian falls into the water, you get one miss. If you get three misses, the game ends.

With Solar Fox II, Author JessCreations has contributed a solid ColecoVision title. A space based action shooter. As a runner for hire, you pilot the Solar Skimmer, a sleek spacecraft built for stealth and scouting, but completely unarmed. To succeed in this mission, you’ll need to rely solely on your speed and reflexes to steal energy cores, but the opponents -known as the Hellbounders- won’t make it easy.

You are the driver of a rocket-powered space taxi. Somewhere in the shaft below you, a fare is waiting on a landing pad, waving and yelling "HEY, TAXI!". Your job is simple: pick them up, take them where they want to go, and try not to smear your cab across the scenery on the way. Space Taxi is a game of gravity, thrust and patience. Your cab is always falling. Every correction burns fuel, every touchdown has to be gentle, and every second your passenger spends waiting eats into your tip. Eight shafts stand between you and the top of the city, each one meaner than the last: sandy beaches, sheer skyscrapers, a beanstalk of stacked pads, a shaft with a ball bouncing through it, and a maze of teleport panels that will throw you somewhere you did not ask to go. Land softly. Fly carefully. Keep the meter running. Controls Space Taxi uses the standard ColecoVision hand controller — either port works. The keypad is not used. Menu Select a level (1–8) Start the game Input Action UP / DOWN Select a level (1–8) Left fire button Start the game Flying Input Action UP Main thruster — pushes the cab upward LEFT / RIGHT Side thrusters — push the cab sideways Left fire button Raise / lower the landing gear On a pad Input Action UP Lift off (the gear retracts automatically) Important: the side thrusters are locked out while the landing gear is extended. Line up your approach first, then drop the gear and settle straight down. You cannot steer on the way in. After a crash Wait for the wreck to clear, then press any button or direction to start the level again. Flying the Cab Gravity never stops. Left alone, the taxi accelerates downward until it hits something, and even coasting burns a trickle of fuel. Short taps on the thruster are far more economical than long burns, and much easier to correct. To land safely, all of the following must be true: The landing gear is down The cab is descending, not rising The descent is slow — come in fast and you crash Both legs of the gear are over solid pad Anything else ends the same way: contact with a wall, a ceiling, the side of a pad, or the edge of the screen destroys the cab. So does touching a pad with the gear up. You have six cabs. When the last one is gone, the shift is over. The Fare A customer appears on a random pad and calls for you. Set down on their pad and they will walk over and climb aboard. Once they are in the cab, a speech bubble tells you where they want to go: "PAD n PLEASE" — fly them to the numbered pad and land there "UP PLEASE!" — they want out of this shaft entirely A completed fare pays $5.00 plus the tip. The tip starts somewhere between $11.00 and $19.00 and drops by 25¢ every second from the moment the customer first calls for you — including the time you spend flying to reach them, and all the time they sit in the back. Take the scenic route and you will arrive with nothing but the flat fare. One more thing: pads are for landing on, not for flying through. Hitting a waiting customer with the cab costs you $10.00 and they will leave in disgust. Another fare turns up a couple of seconds later. Going Up A shimmering force field seals the gap at the top of every shaft. It only drops once you have a passenger on board who has asked to go UP — and that only happens after you have completed enough ordinary fares in that level. With the field down, fly your passenger straight out through the gap at the top of the screen and you will jump to the next level, fare and tip included. Miss the gap and you hit the ceiling. Fuel The gauge starts at 1536 units and only goes one way. Thrusting burns it fastest, but simply staying alive burns it too. Run dry and the thrusters die with it — from that point on you are a very expensive falling object. On Level 4 (Taxi Trainer), pad 10 is a fuel station. Set down on it and the tanks refill while you sit. No customer will ever be waiting there, and no customer will ever ask to be taken there — it exists purely for you. Every other shaft gives you one tank and nothing more. Fuel is restored in full at the start of each level, and after each crash.

Wild Western was a popular 1982 Taito arcade game featuring a sheriff on horseback protecting a train from bandits, known for its 8-direction shooting, dynamic maps, and challenging gameplay that many hoped for on the ColecoVision. While it was shown in press kits and discussed by fans, the original Wild Western was never officially released by Coleco for the console, but dedicated homebrew developers have since created and released modern homebrew versions that capture the spirit of the arcade original.
